My mind thinks I’m crazy, and my ♥ feels I’m emotionally unstable. I’m w/o a doubt insane, but diagnosed psychologically well.

To the girl who lived in OH …

Everyday is never the same, wish I know you better, you had me thinking I should have said I loved you instead of forget you. I don’t be leave in love at first sight and never believed in love with first fuck. For love take more than just a regular pull. It takes the entire force of the universe to keep, maintain, and upgrade. I would love to be able to kiss you again and show you just how much I have somewhat grown. Love = work, energy, and some much more. Love is not all ways kind, but it is always there.

THE FACTS

1 in 9 Black Americans have been imprisoned.

In places like South Central Los Angeles, 1 in 100 black or brown men will graduate with a Bachelors degree, but 1 in 3 are incarcerated.

WHY WE SHOULD CARE

A society so focused on punishment fails to invest in the potential of young people to become productive citizens.

OUR TIME OPINION
We should be trying to help educate young people, not imprison them! As the author notes, “It costs less to send a young student to college, than the money spent sending him to prison.” Education is the greatest equalizer.
